JOB DESCRIPTION:
– Organization and implementation of experiments in our laboratories.
– Tracking and procurement of chemical stocks.
– Preparation of chemicals
-Tracking and procurement of consumables.
– General administration of the laboratory, including equipment acquisition for infrastructure development.
– Training of new and prospective graduate students in basic laboratory usage and protocols used within the research group.
QUALIFICATIONS:
– Bachelor’s degree in Biology or Molecular Biology and Genetics from a four-year program.
– Preferably, at least 1 year of experience working in a Molecular Biology laboratory with practical experience.
– Proficiency in English.
PREFERRED ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
– M.Sc. degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, or a related program.
– Experience in DNA isolation.
– Experience in preparing Illumina-type Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) libraries.
